1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Sellrow (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. Sellrow is a payment and commerce platform for student associations, clubs, and organizations (“Organizations”) and their members (“Members”).
2. Description of service
Sellrow provides tools for Organizations to collect dues, sell event tickets, sell merchandise, and accept donations. Members can pay through the Platform, receive receipts, and verify payments. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. Sellrow does not hold funds indefinitely; payouts to Organizations are subject to our payout policy and provider terms.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an Organization account. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and update it when it changes.
4. Fees and payments
Sellrow may charge transaction fees as described on the Platform and in our pricing documentation. Fees may be borne by the Organization or the payer as stated at the time of the transaction. All amounts are in Nigerian Naira (NGN) unless otherwise stated. Refunds and chargebacks are subject to our policies and the policies of our payment providers.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Platform for illegal activity, fraud, money laundering, or to violate any applicable law. You may not misuse the Platform to harm others or to circumvent security or verification features. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Platform or users.
6. Intellectual property
Sellrow and its licensors own all rights in the Platform’s design, code, branding, and documentation. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission. You retain ownership of content you upload; you grant us a license to use it to operate and improve the Platform.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using Sellrow, you consent to the collection and use of information as described there.
8. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for the actions of Organizations, Members, or payment providers. You use the Platform at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sellrow and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or these terms. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the updated terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app notice.
